This proposal for a mixed used development of 200 residential flats, commercial units and landscaped open space will replace an un-used multi-storey carpark within Greenock's Town Centre. The project will revitalise an underused block at the heart of Greenock helping to re-densify and enliven this important part of the Town Centre and provide sustainable, energy efficient homes whilst reinstating an active row of commercial units. Historically this part of Greenock has been home to large and tall factory buildings, tenement flats and a number of churches and cinemas. The proposed development seeks to increase the density of this part of town whilst creating attractive and sustainable homes that benefit from generous outdoor spaces, whilst reflecting Greenock's rich industrial heritage and positive future.
